Changing the Build Target and Creating a GCCE UREL Build

To change the build target in CodeWarrior IDE, do the following:

  1.  In the HelloWorldBasic.mcp project window, select Project > Set Default Target > GCCE UREL from the main menu bar:

The build target is changed to GCCE UREL.

  1. Build the application by clicking the Source tree and selecting Project > Make from the Main menu bar.

The IDE builds all source files into a GCCE UREL build. This build is in fact a HELLOWORLDBASIC.EXE application file, which is defined (with its directory location) in the HELLOWORLDBASIC.PKG package file.
