Installing Nokia Content Publishing Toolkit
-------------------------------------------

Install the Nokia Content Publishing Toolkit 2.1 (NCPT2.1) software by running the NCPT2 setup executable.

- It is recommended that you uninstall previous version of NCPT (NCPT2.0 or older) before installing NCPT2.1.

- If you are going to run NCPT2.1 in Windows 2000, NT, XP or Linux operating system and if NCPT2.1 should be used by all the users, log on to the system with a user that has administrator privileges. NCPT2.1 installation will fail without administrator privileges in systems that require them.

- Locate and run the NCPT2.1 setup executable found on the distribution media or the folder on your hard disk where you downloaded it.
  * Windows: execute "install.exe"
  * Unix (Linux): execute "sh ./install.bin"

- Read the welcome page and click Next.

- Select the Java Virtual Machine for use by NCPT2.1. Required version for Java VM is 1.4.1 or higher. If no proper Java VM is installed to the system the NCPT2 installation package contains correct version of Java VM, which can be installed.

- Select destination folder for NCPT2.1 installation and click Next.

- Select folder for icons for NCPT2.1 and click Next.

- Check installation settings and click Install if they are ok. If they are not ok, click Back until you are on appropriate page and change the incorrect values.

- Click Done to exit the installation program.

- At any point during installation, click Cancel to abort the installation.
