Class that is used to cause connections to be made. This exists as an effectively separate interface from the rest of the (outer) class for security reasons.

Method Detail

connect

public IPCSocket connect(int timeout)
                  throws java.io.IOException
Connect to this (outer) instance. This blocks until a matching call to IPCServerSocket.accept() happens or until the specified timeout expires. If timeout occurs, this with throw InterruptedIOException. A timeout of 0 indicates that no timeout should occur (that is, block indefinitely until an accept).
Parameters:
timeout - >= 0; the timeout, in milliseconds
Returns:
non-null; one of the sides of the newly-connected socket
Throws:
java.io.IOException - thrown if there's trouble
